Slow load to no load

This is day two of slow load to no load as to logging in, the front page of the blog, the dashboard, and viewing comments. Sometimes it is redirected to the I-white page. There aren’t any changes with my blog as it is the same. I haven’t had loading problems before. It started yesterday and continued today, along with the script error pop up.
I use IE 7 and Firefox… happens in both. I’m using Firefox now. I have cleared the browser, cache, cookies and done a hard refresh. My computer is up-to-date on all the yada-yada and is on high-speed Internet. When in the dashboard with Firefox, it states plug-ins need to be downloaded. The slow load to no load still perstists.
Is it only my blog, dashboard, etc. experiencing this? Or are there other blogs experiencing this? Does this have something to do with WordPress making changes and so forth?

I’m experiencing this also. Looks like a server problem on WP.com’s side. I’ll give it a half hour to settle down and if it hasn’t I’ll send in a Support ticket.

I got several no-loads, blankness with “done” on my browser status. Then I got one load with no CSS. Two more in a row. Dashboard was fine. Using FF 2.0.0.14.
Also forum incredibly slow today. This makes me think it’s a server issue.

We’re looking into some issues with the new Possibly Related Posts feature. It’s turned off until we can get the problem worked out.

I’m experiencing extremely slow loading times for all my blog post and WP admin pages. Any ideas why? I would like to write some new posts but its just too painful at the moment due to the slow loading.

Can you give us a link to your blog?
Friday nights are traditional nights for spam attacks, but that shouldn’t slow things down too much. They are also traditional “WP tinkering with the blogs” nights, so it could be their fault.

Mine seems to be back to normal speed now, but yes my admin panel was too slow to post also.
Seems to be working fine now though…

Nope. Still slow. Once it even logged me out during a save. Today it hung up multiple times while I was just typing text. Is this temporary?

Your blog loads quickly for me. There seems to be some sort of peering dispute going on between two of the backbones. That may or may not have anything to do with the slow downs you’re seeing. Are other sites slow for you?
