Slow Loading Times

  Hello, I have been experiencing slow load times on my website. Waiting 2-4 seconds for most elements to load on the public browsing side, and even longer on the back end for simple navigation. I sometimes get 504 gateway timeouts on the admin side of things. I checked my bandwidth usage, and I only have around 500 monthly visitors, so I don’t think I’m beyond what my plan is. For more context, I use jetpack and site cacheing. Looking for help to resolve this and have my website run at the speed I pay for. Thank you!

  Hi there,

  The 500 errors point to the issue most likely being on your server, so it will be best to contact your hosting provider directly for help with this.

  Else you can also ask the WordPress.org community for advice in their forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/

  As your site is not hosted on our servers, we don’t have any control over it’s loading speed. And while Jetpack’s CDN does help improve your site’s performance, there are many other factors that have nothing to do with Jetpack that can also affect your site’s performance for better or for worse.
