Thanks for your reaction.
As soon as I noticed the slow loading issue of wordpress.com pages (not only my blogpages, forum and wp-admin as well) I did clean cache and cookies in Chrome, which didn’t help. Then updated to newest (beta) version50 without succes. Disabling all extensions did not help. Third-party cookies and Javascript are enabled on all sites. Flash player is up to date.
Next thing was switching to MS Edge which I didn’t use before, so cookies and cache wouldn’t be the problem. Pages load a little faster, but still slow.
I repeated all those things on another computer: same results.
Loading pages on my Android 5.1 smartphone is also much slower than it was before.
As said: I didn’t change anything. Upto a couple of days before everything worked fine and the problem occures only with wordpress.com pages (also from other bloggers)Info:

Hi there,
When you say that your site is loading slow, how slow are you saying? Is it eventually loading completely?
I visited the site and it seemed to load normally – it took a few seconds longer to load all the images as I scrolled because your site is set to infinite scroll, but 10 seconds on my end?
Let me know if you are still having any trouble.
Thanks!

Hello and thamks for your response.
Today seemed slightly better. Yesterday it took upto approx 10 seconds before anything appeared on my screen. After that the whole page loaded in one go. As mentioned not only for one site, but for all of my sites (4!) and the wp-admin part as well. Today loading faster (4 seconds or less).
By the way: Only one of my four sites was set to infinite scrolling. After your response I changed the number of blog messages to load to 1 instead of 3 and now everything seems like it was before.
Still strange and unsatisfactory, because before this occured everything worked fine… -
Hi there,
Since it is loading a bit quicker, I am not concerned that the issue that caused the slow loading is a factor, but keep and eye on it. I don’t think it is a WordPress.com issue since I was able to load it quickly on my end. It may be an issue with your internet service provider.
Did you try and load any of the sites outside of your home (or wherever you have had the loading problems)? That may narrow the issue down to an ISP issue.
Let me know and I can possibly do some more research on my end if the issue persists.
Thanks!

Hello,
I will certainly keep an eye on it. Since the problem only occurred with wordpress.com pages I thought it maybe was a wordpress issue….
Next week I will try the ‘outside my home’ experiment as I will be on a vacation by then. I will take my laptop with me then. Thanks again,
