Slow PNG image file loading

  On my most recent blog posting (Editing), it takes a long time for the PNG image to load. Similarly, if I go to the Media tab on the dashboard, the PNG file thumbnail is really slow. Is this a characteristic of PNG on WordPress? An identically-sized JPG loads much faster. Any suggestions?

  I reviewed your media library and I see some trouble with the latest PNG image, but all of your other PNG images load fine for me.

  I downloaded and tested img_28340.png and I found that it is a 26MB file. That’s extremely large for a web page. Can you please try saving a smaller version of the image before uploading?
