Slow typing responce…???

  Hi, my first post here, thanks for any suggestions you may have.

  My problem is that as I type a blog entry the cursor falls behind more and more, so that by the time I’m at 200+ words it’s nine or ten key-strokes behind what I’m actually typing.

  This means any errors don’t get spotted and I make more and more mistakes which need correcting thus making things just get worse and worse…..

  Is it simply that WordPress isn’t geared to long posts….is there an upgrade that would speed things up??

  Hi there,

  I also write long posts but have never had this problem. It sounds more like a browser problem. Try clearing cookies and cache etc…

  Lately google chrome seems to have a problem dealing with the wordpress ‘new editor’ ~ so I switch to the old editor or to explorer / firefox when chrome is acting up or I want to work on to different blogs at the same time.

  Thanks for your input AFS. I believe everything is OK here ( ha!)…my PC is stripped to the bone these days and only recently reloaded with Windows after a crash.
  I might try the next post without any images added until after I have concluded the text………perhaps they are slowing it all up.
