SLOW when inserting a link and publish ing

  I have a high speed DSL internet service and a fast computer, and I do not have this same problem on other websites I post to. When I am attaching a link to something in my blog, at times it takes FOREVER to bring up the link box or go back to the write screen after I finish adding the link. Other times, it is SO SLOW when I click on Publish that I do not know if it is going to do that or lose my post. When it does finally publish, there are sometimes 2 or 3 “drafts” of my post in my Write screen, and I had not even told it to save a draft.

  Any reasons for this? It doesn’t happen every time, but very often. Thanks!

  Staff has suggested to clear your browser, DNS, and cookie caches. Some folks still have left overs from when the backend was secure and accessed via https. You may be running into this.
