slug / link name recovery

  how do i recover a slug / link page adress when wordpress automatically changes it to the same name i tried to change?

  ex: i try to put the slug / link adress to http://almmahafkyz.wordpress.com/contos/ but it automatically changes to http://almmahafkyz.wordpress.com/contos-2/

  i removed the first ‘/contos’ first page i created then update it to a better one, which was created with the ‘-2’ extension, but i still want the previous slug / link adress, as ‘/contos/ (without the ‘2’)… could u help me please?
