Slug with date

How do I keep the publishing date from being in my URL for each post?
WP.com: Yes
Jetpack: No
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Perhaps try making it either a page or a ‘project’, it can sometimes be easier. Also, just change the front page to a ‘custom page’ with a theme of choice that displays it best..
Having had a quick look at you home page, portfolios/projects can also be displayed via a ‘post’ on your home page with links to all and such, or per topic.
Hope that helps

Hi there,
The easiest way to change your posts’ URL structure (aka permalinks) is to upgrade to the Business or eCommerce plan. Those plans allow you to create a custom URL structure for your permalinks. You can find more information here:
https://wordpress.com/support/permalinks-and-slugs/#changing-the-permalink-structure
I see you’ve recently purchased the Premium plan, so if you decide to upgrade to the Business plan, you’ll only pay the difference.
Let me know if you have any other questions, and I’ll be happy to help.

Hi there @reclaimingwonder just adding that changing your site’s permalink structure is available on a Business plan or higher.
Permalinks are the permanent URLs to your individual pages and blog posts, as well as your category and tag archives. Slugs are the URL-friendly names of your posts, pages, categories, and tags. This is an example of a permalink: https://yourgroovydomain.com/2020/01/01/first-blog-post In the above example, the slug is first-blog-post. How Slugs WorkIdentifying SlugsPosts & PagesCateWhile it might seem advantageous to publish pages or portfolios instead of posts, doing so doesn’t add them to your site’s feed, which is updated and pinged to search engines or your blog subscribers when you publish a new post.
Other than in the post slug, is there a specific place in your theme or a page where you’d prefer that the post date not appear? Let us know and we’ll see if we can suggest a workaround.
