Slugs

    If I change the slug of a published blog post, in order to shorten it and make it easier to be brought up on search results — Does this consequently break the URL link to that specific blog post? Example: If I want to change the ending URL in the SLUG area from ‘technology-almost-killed-my-vibes’ TO ‘ technology’ will doing so then break the link that was created upon publishing said original post?

    Hello.
    As you know, WordPress generates the slug automatically. Slugs tend to be similar to the original title however, they can be edited to something other than the default without any issues with the URL link.
