Small image link to big image

  I have seen this done:

  and would like to know how to do the same, can anyone point me in the right direction please with simple easy to follow directions, new to this!

  When you go to insert the image, but before clicking “insert into post” click the “file URL” button and then click the insert into post button.

  For existing images, open the post, click on the image, click on the edit image icon that appears at the upper left of the image and click the “image URL” or “file URL” button, then click “update” and then click the “update post” button.

  For existing image, once I’m in to edit the image, the button to click is “link to image.”
