Small Images Distorting
-
I just posted a blog, with links for very small graphics that can be used for needlepoint belts. http://blog.needlepaint.com/2013/03/27/the-directory-of-needlepoint-belt-graphics/
In the visual editor, it looks good, but when it goes live, it gets all distorted, including many of the images appearing broken. I have viewed the blog in two browsers (chrome and safari) and both have problems.
Please have a look and let me know how to fix this. I plan to keep this post updated and link to it from other posts once the issue is resolved.
I can do html editing if needed, but that still would not fix the image distortions.
Thanks,
Seth

Hi there,
I just went and took a look at the post which you included and I wasn’t sure if I was seeing the distortion which you were talking about. Could you describe the distortion some more, or screenshots can be a huge help in cases like these – can you maybe take a screenshot and then upload it to your Media Library and then paste the link back here so I can better understand the issue?
This page has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Thanks for the quick reply!
Here are links to the screen shots:
#1. How the images should look = http://customneedlepointkits.files.wordpress.com/2013/03/small-images-correct-format.jpg
#2. Screen Shot in Chrom (mac) =

Or a browers cache issue, anyway, since it showed up in both my browsers, I think there may be an issue with the formatting in wordpress.
Thanks, and let me know what you find.

Hi there,
We’ve been able to figure out why your images are being spaced oddly and are being distorted.
First, please review this article:
And make sure that any images are being uploaded with the right color profile. The wrong profile can result in the images appearing incorrectly.
And to fix the issue with your images going in incorrectly, each one of your images will need to be edited slightly. We’ve done the first few for you, but you will need to do the rest.
* First, you will need to edit your post. Hover over the image and click the icon to edit the image properties. You will need to change the image from being “Left Justified” to having no justification (your theme already specifies left justification by default).
Here’s a Screenshot on what this will look like: http://note.io/10hoTnW
* This will fix many of the problems, but it will make all of your images be in a vertical row rather than a horizontal one. To fix that, click the tab which says “Text” to the upper-right of the Post Edit box.
* Scroll down to the section of images which you are editing. You will see the images rendered as small paragraphs of code, separated by an extra line of space. You will need to remove that extra line of space like so: http://note.io/11RXSOi and here: http://note.io/11RUOBP
Once you’ve done those steps, your images should work just fine!
I know I’ve thrown a lot of information at you, so if you have any questions, just let me know!
