Small Site Content Issues
-
On page https://wordpress.com/activity/ under the “How does WordPress compare to other publishing platforms?” heading, there is a link to https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=blogger,drupal,sharepoint,wordpress which doesn’t work. Using https://trends.google.com/trends/explore?date=all&q=blogger,drupal,sharepoint,wordpress should correctly replace the broken link, although possibly consider updating search terms to reflect present market (eg adding squarespace).
On page https://en.wordpress.com/features/ under the “Blog, website, or both” section, in Chrome (67.0.3396.79) there is an invisible line break character being displayed when the ‘Noto Sans’ font is rendered (toggling the font-family hides the character).

Oops the first link I mentioned is http://www.google.com/trends?q=blogger%2C+drupal%2C+sharepoint%2C+wordpress&ctab=0&geo=all&date=all

Hi there,
Thanks for the report. The link on the Activity page has been fixed.
I don’t see that invisible character on the Features page, though, neither on the site itself nor in the source code. On what device are you viewing the page? Does it also appear for you if you use an incognito window?

@kokkieh Windows 10, in blank Chrome profile it’s there. Present on mobile device as well. Edge for example, doesn’t render it, but you can still see it in page source. On further look, there are more instances of it popping up. Might need to look at a broader solution (database replacement) if it’s present throughout the site.
More in Chrome Desktop:

Edge:

Android 8.0.0 / Chrome 66.0.3359.158

Hi samiff94,
Thanks, I’ve done some testing on Chrome for Windows 10 and I’ve also been able to the see the character highlighted in your screenshot. I’ll let our developers know so they can look into what is causing it.
