Hi Cmoni2k
are you really speaking of the menu at top of the pages ? « Home, Blog, articles… »
i am not an expert, but i think you nedd a premium plan in order to CSS the items you want. Do you have it ? (see https://wordpress.com/plans/cmonionline.com).

ok i think you should type this in the CSS pane :
.main-navigation a {
font-size: 80%;
}
and play with the % in order to get the size you wanthope it works

thanks..i wonder if i activate another theme and dont like it i can switch bach to gateway without any changes
-
i do not have the answer, what i just know, you certailny know it also, is the fact that css codes dont work for all themes and must sometimes be changed when you change theme
thought, i would answer that css codes you type have no reason to dissappear when you change your theme
but i can not garantee it -
@cmoni2k, you can switch back and forth on themes at any time. CSS is theme specific, so when you switch themes, the software will automatically disable the CSS from the previous theme to keep it from messing up your site. If you switch back to the original theme, you can reactivate the custom CSS you were previously using on that theme at Customize > CSS. At the top you will see the CSS Revisions link above the CSS entry area. Click on that and then restore the CSS you have been using.
