Smaller titles of posts, smaller spacing between posts
-
Hello,
I am trying to make the titles of my posts smaller AND the spacing between them smaller, but I can’t seem to find the correct method. I’ve tried some CSS solutions that I found in the threads, but they are not working.
Here is the link to my page:

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To make post titles smaller and reduce the spacing below posts in the Truly Minimal theme, add this to your Appearance > Customize > CSS editor:
.entry-title, .entry-title a { font-size: 28px; font-size: 2.8rem; } .hentry { margin-bottom: 0; } -
Brilliant :) Thanks a lot.
I’m also trying to make my posts into two columns, like this site:
http://www.mattsoar.org/so, your most recent post would be in one column and then you scroll down and have two columns for older posts. does that make sense?
let me know what you think? any help you can provide is ALWAYS extremely appreciated.

http://www.mattsoar.org/ is using the thesis theme, which is not available here at WordPress.com. You cannot change the theme post display into multiple columns with CSS. It would require editing of the theme PHP script files, and we cannot do that here at WordPress.com. There are themes that can show posts in two columns available here at WordPress.com.
Oxygen has an image slider at the top and then recent posts (full width) below that and then more articles in two columns below the recent articles.
Sunspot also will show your posts in two columns on the main page (theme options).
The Premium theme, Bold News, also displays the posts on the main blog page in two columns as does the premium theme Newsy.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply and the information.
Would those themes change my site dramatically do you think? I’m trying to maintain the Art page (www.melanielefebvre.com/art) as I’ve already set up the carousel and my captions, etc. I also am attached to the color palette. I’ve also upgraded so that I can have my own site address without the “wordpress.com”.
If I change themes will any of these issues be disturbed?
Thank you! -
Also, since I’m already a premium member does that mean I can choose one of those premium themes that you mentioned and not be charged again or… it’s a bit confusing…
thanks! -
The WordPress.com Premium Upgrade is a bundle of popular upgrades at a greatly reduced price. It does not include any Premium Themes. Those would have to be purchased separately.
