Smart quotes not showing

  Hello,
  I have seen a few posts about how to turn off smart quotes, but mine never seem to be on, an embarrassing thing for a designer type.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hey Jane,

  It seems to me that your quotes are working:

  (Note the comparison I made in the bottom panel)

  Mind you, the smart part of smart quotes is that you type dumb apostrophes in the editor and WordPress does the right thing magically.

  Perhaps this is something specific of your browser? Can you try with a browser other than your usual?

  Thanks Giegoe,

  You are right. It’s Chrome that’s the problem.
  In fact, it’s been giving me all sorts of headaches. I can’t view my Typekit fonts, for example, as I work, and some CSS styles I change don’t appear correctly.

  That’s weird. I’m also using Chrome (33.0.1750.117 on OSX 10.7.5).

  Maybe it’s time for an always magical cache clearing? :-)
