smileys distorting shape of posts.

I use smileys in my posts from time to time. Recently, we made a change in our layout and the smileys have been distorting the shape of our square shaped posts. I don’t know if that makes sense, but here are two links. The first one shows the original shape and the second shows the crime the smileys have committed. I know its minor, but I don’t like it :(

The smiley thing is something staff will most likely have to adjust so you will need to contact them directly.
On another note though, I highly recommend that you optimize your images and reduce the file size. The top image in http://wordonmars.wordpress.com/2009/03/06/naruto-manga-438-discussion/ is 740k and the lower “grouped” image is 1.4mb. This causes the page to load very slowly, even with my 5mb connection speed, and you have to remember that most people are still on connections under 1.5mb, and there is a sizable number still on dial up.
In general I try to keep my images under 75k, and if possible under 50k so that page load times are faster.

I wont bother with the smileys, but hey thanks for the advice. It gives me something work on :P
