smileys not shown correctly

When I type a smiley (or someone reacts on blog post), smileys are not shown well in internet explorer (I already did clear caching of internet explorer), eg when I type :) –> a smiley appears like an ), but then the smiley is shown as upper symbol. In google chrome, I don’t see this problem. How can I fix please, because I’d like to show smileys on my blog. thanks for your help.

They’ve stopped working AGAIN !!!
What on earth is going on? – how can it be so hard to keep them functioning ?

I love the new emoticons but the emoticon shows up as like a superscript and then some of the characters that make up the emoticon show up below that. I use Able theme. They show-up correctly on my friends firefox but not IE which I use. I have turned them off and back on again, no change. Any help?

I don’t see any issues on your blog. Do you still encounter this?
If possible, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.

Hello, thanks for the answer, I put a screen shot in my media library, called ‘ incorrect smileys for internet explorer browser’, for other browser then internet explorer, I do not have problem. Can you check the picture? Otherwise I can send in mail. Thanks for your help. Greetings
