SMS for 2FA never arrive

When logging in, I have 2FA activated. When I try to authenticate using SMS, the SMS never arrives. I’ve checked and re-checked that it’s the correct number. Is there an issue with SMS on WordPress.com for the past couple of days?
(In Canada, on Public Mobile in case that matters)

I’m not having problems logging in with my Authenticator app or using the account in general. I am having problems authenticating with SMS. Does that make more sense?

Sure. Our logs show we sent several texts — I don’t see errors on this side. Also, that you received backup codes today. Were you able to sort this out already?

Nope, haven’t been able to sort it. I’ve tried many times (as your logs show) from thsi account and another that’s associated with that phone number. Maybe it’s a problem with my cell provider. I’ll give it a week or so and try again. In the meantime, the authneticator app is working fine. I just like having a backup. :)

Working fine now. Not sure if it was WordPress or my provider, but all is back in order. Thanks for your help!
