SMTP Authentication

Our NFP website used to have emails forwarded to several contact individuals personal email addresses; however, such forwarding has ceased. In testing the contactus address for the NFP, a volunteer-run organization, an undeliverable notice was received stating that the remote server is misconfigured and to turn on the SMTP Authentication in our mail client. How do we do that?

    WP.com: Yes
    Correct account: Yes

Hi! How are the emails forwarded? Are you using a plugin to do that? By default, WordPress.com sites using plugins such as WooCommerce will reliably send out emails to your site’s users, anyway, I believe this is not such a case.

You may want to use an SMTP plugin or email provider like Google Workspace (previously G-Suite).

Here it is a guide from the official documentation that you may find useful (https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-and-smtp-plugins/). If you need more info, just reply back, and I’ll try my best to help you! :D
