  I heard that smush.it is a great plug in to automatically reduce the size of photos while uploading. Something like smush.it could be of extreme help for artists like me trying to display artwork with a good quality.

  Hi there !

  Smush.it is pretty good but I don’t think it is available. However, you can use ImageOptim ( http://imageoptim.com ) (Mac) or FileOptimizer ( http://nikkhokkho.sourceforge.net/static.php?page=FileOptimizer ) (PC) to compress the images like smush.it does, and it will be a lot faster :)
