  Are snap shots anything to do with pictures? If not can I add pictures to my Welcome but without messing up my banner photograph? Cheers.

  Snap Shots (in Design-Extras) have nothing to do with pictures. If it’s turned on, you’ll see preview of the link you hover over.

  Not sure what you mean by your other question.
