Snaps Theme Portfolio Help
-
I’d like some help getting the set up for my portfolio pages, like how they one in the Snaps theme Demo.
Example
On the demo it has a main “Portfolio” Menu -> a “Portraits” sub menu and page with featured work -> and then links to those specific project pages.
This repeats for the other sub menus as well.I would like to do the same for mine as I start to to upload more of my images. I currently have one titled “South Korea” and would like that put under a collection called “Travel” which then shows the projects.
I pretty much want it the setup replicated as it is in the demo, so i can start adding projects and organising them into different collections/genres.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
The sub-menu items under “Portfolio” in the navigation menu of the Snaps demo link to project tag archive pages. This can be seen in the corresponding URLs. For example, the “Portraits” tag archive page has the URL https://snapsdemo.wordpress.com/project-tag/portraits/. Such an archive page is created automatically by assigning the corresponding project tag to one or more projects.
How to add a link to a project tag archive page is described and illustrated in the Add Menu Items section of the Custom Menus support page. Sub-menus may be created as described and illustrated in the Reorder Menu Items & Add Drop-Down Menus section of that support page.

You could use project types, which are like categories on posts, instead of project tags to differentiate between various categories of portfolio projects.
