snippet latin

  I have been trying to change the meta data or snippet data. I have tried with yoast and another SEO plugin to change the default snippet into something relevant to my site but somehow it is stuck in default latin snippet. What can i do? I have also tried webmaster tools(index,crawl and sitemap) but it will not change. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Hello :) yes, our site is REDACTED
  We have a hostgator site using wordpress as a platform? and the Highend theme. Im not so tech advanced so please excuse my lack of proper terminology.
