Snow is not working again this year

  Like last year (https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/snow-not-showing-up-on-my-blog?replies=21) the snow on my main blog is not working, only producing white lines at the bottom of the screen that is confusing some of my visitors. It’s working on my other blogs, just like last year.

  Hi there,

  What’s causing this is your “Spread the Word” widget, or more specifically, the HTML code that’s displayed in that widget. If you remove that widget (temporarily) the snow should display as normal. That’s the only workaround I can offer you at this time, aside from disabling the feature completely (Settings ->General on My Sites).

  But we know what is causing it, and it is on the list of things that must be fixed. But it’s unlikely that the fix will happen in the next few days.
