Snow — TURN IT OFF!!!

I’m not a grinch. Well, the truth is that the fuzzy little flakes are a product of javascript. It does slow down page loading time, and it does cause problems for some bloggers and their visitors computers. As not all of us have hgh speed broadband access and many are still on dial up access, and as not all of us have state of the art computers to work with, it’s great that Staff made this an optional feature, right? -
Isn’t today the last day of the snow for the season? Does it stop at midnight? I will have to drag my widget that announces “First Snow of the Season!” over to the inactive section.
It was fun having snow on my blog. I got a positive reaction from friends who read my blog. They were surprised and delighted
Will we get cherry blossom petals for the spring?

I LOVE the snow, and it doesn’t effect Internet Explorer 8 at all! Turn it off at your option, but leave the rest of us to enjoy the Peace of it for as long as we can. Besides, this is ONE kind of snow that the sand/salt trucks can’t touch. Beautiful!
P.S., good that I don’t use Firefox.
Thanks and Happy New Year from Ralph. Now bring on the blizzards! Hee hee…
