I am trying to put my domain into my site. I purchased my domain through WordPress but I’m getting a message that ‘This domain is already mapped to a WordPress.com site. But that is actually me.

My URL is gailtreasure.com . I purchased this domain and I paid for a WordPress Explorer site at the same time. I received an email confirming that I purchased both these things. The Transaction ID in the email is: (Edited by staff). When I tried to set up my site, it gives an error message that the domain gailtreasure.com is mapped to a different site on WordPress. This makes no sense, as it should be mapped to my site. This is very frustrating. I appreciate your assistance.

Hi,
Thanks for sharing your site’s URL.
Your domain and site are owned by an account different from the one you are contacting us from (gailtreasure). It seems that you have purchased your domain and set it up with another account.
We are not able to provide account support via forums for security reasons. I’ve gone ahead and removed the transaction ID from your previous message.
In order to regain access to the account that manages the site gailtreasure.com, please use the account recovery form: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
At some point, you may run into a situation in which you’ve lost access to your account. This guide will explain the steps to avoid getting locked out and how to recover your account if you cannot log in. Provide a Recovery Email and SMS Number In the event you don’t have access to your primary WordPress.com contact information, you can provide a backup email and SMS number to verify yourPlease share the transaction ID in the form, and the account recovery team will be able to help you regain access to this account.
Thanks!
