So let me get this clear…to download my media on my site I need to…..?????

  I’ve asked this already , but not this one exactly. Sorry to ask again but newbie here!! I’ve got 4GB of images on my WP dot com I want to download to my computer. To download my entire WP dot com site to a folder on my computer I first need to install WP dot org on my computer and then from the new WP dot org site I need to import my WP dot com site to the folder on my computer, that simple? Anything I need to know apart from what I just stated above? For instance do I need to create a new running WP dot org site with posts in it first or do I just install the WP dot org app and sign in with username and password that I was asked for when I installed the WP dot org app? Thank you.
  Sorry, this may all seem plain obvious to you peoples in WP but to me this is way complicated…
