  I upgraded my account today and published my site and now the editor tools are incredibly slow. Why?

  WP.com: Yes
  Jetpack: No
  Correct account: Yes

  Have you tried clearing your browser cache?

  Alternatively, you can check it occurs if you use a different browser.
