So slow, too slow!

    For the past two days my blog is so slow, too slow. Sometimes it takes minutes to open. Can anything be done about it?

    Your blog loads quickly for me and I’m using Firefox 3.6.4

    The first thing to do when you experience this is found here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/
    The next thing to do is to try alternative browser. Which browsers and versions of them have you tried?
    Recent updates to your anti-virus program could be interfering. have you had any?
    There could be problems between your ISP and the proxies used to connect to wordpress.com. Have you checked to see if there are any problems with your ISP?

    Now it started working fine. I don’t know if it will stay this way.

    I didn’t try other browsers or anything, as two days ago my blog was working okay and I had no problems. I didn’t change the antivirus program or anything. As far as my ISP is concerned, that I haven’t checked. I don’t have any problems with my internet service, apart from opening my blog. But as I said, it started working okay a minute or two ago.

    I was too early to write all is okay. It isn’t. The blog was working fine for few minutes and now it is again so slow.

    At the same time, I can open other WP blog that I read with no problems.

    LOL Staff monitor forum threads while they do their work. I could be wrong but I suspect Staff may have quietly helped you with the slowness problem. ;) Anyway, I’m glad to hear the issue is resolved. Happy blogging! :)

    Have you tried using the Chrome browser? Many people say it’s faster for them. You can use it to update your blog. And whichever browser you were regularly using, you can go back to it for your other online searches.

    I am in e-mail communication with one of WP stuff members. I am very sure it’s not my computers because … It was working great until two days ago. And even this evening, for two hours the blog was opening very quickly. If my browser was slow, it would be slow all evening and not two hours quick and then one hour like a snail. I don’t know, I think it has to be something between my ISP and WP. It’s working okay now.
