Sobe theme

I am using the sobe theme but I have noticed that you get a totally different layout when opening my page on my smartphone. Which free theme makes sure you have the same layout on all devices?

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us with your query.
Most of the themes today are responsive (they change layout based on mobile/table device width or orientation). This is good to have behaviour because if the layout is kept as same as how it looks on desktop browser then you will miss on text readability. Because in small devices images & text would appear smaller needing user to double tap, scroll horizontally to read properly.
All this is certainly not a good user experience & hence responsive design comes handy.

anneleencools – it sounds like you may have inadvertently activated the separate mobile theme. Since Sobe is already responsive, the mobile theme is not needed, as it’s only intended for older, non-responsive themes.
Looks like it’s turned off now – let me know if you’re all set.
Responsive themes adjust automatically to be readable on any size of device, from phones to tablets through desktop computers.
