Sobe Theme: Changing link colors
-
Hi, I’m using the Sobe theme on the free, WordPress.com-hosted platform for my personal blog and I’m having trouble setting the color for hyperlinks. The current color is the same color as my main paragraph text (gray) so you can’t even tell there’s a link. When I go to Customize within the theme setting, I only see the option to change the Background color/image and to choose a palette, nothing else.
Thanks in advance for assistance!

Hi,
On a free plan, at Customize > Colors & Backgrounds, if you click the Palettes button under Backgrounds, then you’ll see a row of circles labeled “Colors.” The first circle from the left governs link colors. Click on that circle, then pick a link color or choose your own color (after clicking the link “pick your own color.” However, notice that a change at circle #1 will effect the color not only of text links within post or page content, but also the color of other features including the site title and the comments icon.
The different palette options also have various default text link colors.
To change the color of text links selectively only within the content of posts, pages, and other content types, you’d need at least the premium upgrade.

Thank you! I saw the palette circles but wasn’t sure what they correlated to. I appreciate your help!
