  I am building a new soccer league website. I can use ipage wordpress hosting but i need to find a soccer plugin. Any recommendation on which way to approach?

  You are confusing wordpress.com hosted blogs and wordpress.org software installs.

  There is no FTP access https://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/ and no blogger installed plugin capability. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  Blogger installed plugins are not permitted here at WordPress.com for various security reasons. No upgrade changes that reality.
