Social Links Menu Customization
-
Reading through the social links support page (https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/) I see the list of supported sites is very limited. Is there any way to request additional sites be added or a way to add my own sites. I am trying to add Strava and Keybase.io to my social menu.

Hi there,
Please note that these forums are for WordPress.com hosted sites only. If your site is using the self-hosted version of WordPress you need to seek help at the WordPress.org forums:

I am trying to add my Strava profile to my Social Menu bar, but the strava icon is not be present. Only link icon is seen.
Is there any way to have Strava icon seen?
My blog is: pesztlajos.wordpress.com.
Thank you for assistance -
Hi pesztlajos –
Thanks for writing to us. I’ve had a look at the site. Neither our social links menu (which is what your site has set up) or the social menu widget support a Strava icon. This is why you see the link in place of an icon with that option.

Hi lizkarkoski!
Thanks for your reply, but the answer to my question is still missing.
Is there any alternative way to have Strava icon seen? -
@pesztlajos you could create your own widget if you’d like, using actual images and HTML.
It’s a bit more work, but this way you can accommodate virtually any site, and create customized icons, too. We have a guide here:

@pesztlajos, not all themes support all the icons available for the social links menu. The Rowling theme you’re using is one of our older themes, and does not support the Medium icon. You can see the icons that are supported in that theme here:
https://wordpress.com/theme/rowling
To show a Medium icon on your site you’ll need to manually add it to a widget instead, as @supernovia explained above.
