Social media connections.

    When I click to add or fix a connection problem, all I get is a blue page that says ‘Oh hai’ we’re hiring. Why can’t I get past this?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I’m working through a web browser. It says I’ve been disconnected from Facebook and LinkedIn and when I try to reconnect it simply won’t.

  • Hi there,

    I see that your Facebook, Twitter, and Google+ accounts are already connected. To reconnect your LinkedIn account please follow these steps:

    1. Log into your WordPress.com site. Go to My Site > Sharing in your dashboard and click Disconnect next to the link to the LinkedIn account you wish to disconnect.

    2. Reload the page and confirm the link now says Connect.

    3. Clear your browser’s cookies (this clears some cookies that LinkedIn sets which are likely part of the problem).

    4. Log back into your WordPress.com site. Go to My Site > Sharing in your dashboard and follow these steps to reconnect:

    After taking a look at the site I can see that the last change to publicize was 3 weeks ago. I don’t think what you’re doing is registering on the site. It’s not your fault at all, but that’s what is happening.

    Please try this:

    1. sign out of WordPress.com.
    2. sign back in to WordPress.com.
    3. follow these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services

    The linkedin connection is the only one showing as broken when I test the connections.
