Social media icon widget – can't link Google plus
-
I can’t seem to link my Google plus brand page via the social media icon widget. I’ve tried adding different versions of my username into the widget, but none of them seem to work. I’ve been able to set it up for Twitter and LinkedIn though. Any help appreciated, thanks.

I have the exact same issue. It doesn’t matter what username I use. It won’t link up to my google plus account. I have linked FB, Twitter, and LinkedIn. But why it won’t work for G+ is unknown. Hopefully, someone can help.

Hi there,
Can each of you please reply with the links to your G+ profiles? I need the link to the page that shows your personal profile, not the page where you see the stream of posts by other people.

Hi Kokkieh,
Is this the link you mean?
Many thanks for any help you can provide.

That is the right link. It looks like you don’t have a custom URL for your G+ profile, which might be the problem.
You can try adding 115560467981573748389 in the widget and see if that works, otherwise you can claim a custom URL in G+. After you do that, the username in the widget is +NAME, with NAME being your custom G+ handle as it shows in the URL
See these instructions how to get a custom G+ URL:

Hi,
Thank you for your help – I put the page ID number in on its own and it worked – yeah!
Very pleased.
