Social media icons not appearing on home page

  Hi. We just started our blog, and are attempting to set up the layout. We wanted the social media icons on all pages, and I believe we checked the appropriate boxes in Settings>Sharing page. However, they are only appearing on the About page, not the Home page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi there,
  By default your front page displays all your posts and you have not published any posts. The sharing buttons appear at the end of each post you publish. The 404 (page not found) error message on the front page of your blog appeared because you deleted the placeholder Hello World post. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ As soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
