Social media icons not displaying in footer. Using Swell theme.

  Hi,

  I have used the social media icon widget to place my social media icons on the footer. However, they are not showing up. I have put in the usernames and saved the widget. The only thing that shows up is the title of the widget ‘social.’ And that is the only bit I don’t want there ultimately!

  Any ideas? Is my current footer css blocking/hiding them?

  They’re meant to be sat within the Footer Bottom using the Swell theme.

  Hi there!

  You are correct. Your existing CSS code is applying the “display: none” rule to your social icons.

  The conflicting code is on line 252, specifically the selector “.widget-box ul li a”

  Once that’s removed, they will appear but will display as white on white background so you will also want to change the color of footer links.
