Social Media Icons Won't Go Away / Customization Menu Freezes Constantly

    There are these Icons that lead to social media accounts at the bottom of the page but I can’t seem to remove them. I need them gone because the guy who did the website linked the wrong accounts or made buttons that don’t work. I’m pretty sure I need to do something in the customization menu but every time I do that It freezes up. I’ve tried everything and used coworkers’ computers and it STILL freezes.

    I thought it may have been a widget or something to do with the menu, but I couldn’t find anything labeled “social media”, “Facebook”, “Yelp”, etc. I also checked my plugins and non of them say they ad social media icons. I have no idea how to get rid of these social media Icons.

    I just came on as an intern for this small company. The person who made the website doesn’t work here anymore so asking him isn’t an option. I know virtually nothing bout WordPress so sorry if the answer is simple.

    I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with 1&1 Ionos.
