Social Media Integration

  Hi, I am looking at a site for a client of mine that wants to post to Facebook and LinkedIn when they publish a blog post. We have followed the steps to get to Facebook, but constantly get an error message. Any idea what is going on? We got the same message on LinkedIn too.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  It would be helpful If you could share your website URL with us. And please check whether your website is hosted on wordpress.com.

  Hi,
  Thanks for responding. The site is actually http://petersearledesign.com.au. It isn’t actually linked with this account as obviously I don’t want my social media associated with his page. He has a paid account, but I’m not sure which level he paid for.

  Error is “500 status code for “POST /sites/153870482/publicize-connections/new”

  It was simple in the end. I had disabled xml-rpc as a security precaution. Apparently that must be needed for this social integration to work.
