Social media menu not showing up

  In the customizer, I make a new menu. I select the ‘social links menu’ menu location and add my social media links. But nothing shows up.

  I have tried a number of different themes and I haven’t gotten the social media menu to show up at all.

  Any suggestions?

  Hi

  The social menu usually brings up the icons of the social sites not the text that we see in our normal menu that’s why you were not able to get where is your social menu.

  Visit your site pixi3lov3.wordpress.com on the left-hand side of the site and above home button, you will find Instagram and facebook icons that are the menu items under the social menu that you have created.

  Please also check the theme setup instruction and preview live demo you will see the social menu with different icons in the live demo also.

  Thanks for your response! I do want the icons to show up, but when I go to my site and look above the menu on the left-had side I don’t see any icons.

  At the moment I’m trying to add them manually with widgets but it’s not ideal… I’d like to just use the social links menu if I can.

  Hi pixi3lov3

  Please find the screenshot of your site where i have just capture your social menu and the primary menu.

  

  The icons are the social menu items and home and contact links come under simple menu items.

  Please check and let me know, Hope this helps.

  Huh strange, you can see in this screenshot that it doesn’t show up for me:

  

  But I checked in a different browser and it does show up. I’m going to guess that my firefox is outdated or something.

  You’re Welcome, If you were able to see in a different browser then you can try reinstalling the firefox or try clearing its cache and cookies.
