Social Media widget

  In the theme that I’ve chosen for my blog, I have a Social Media Icon widget, but once I published the saved changes, the social media icons do not appear.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi!

  It looks like you’ve entered destinymay___ for the Twitter and Instagram usernames. However, both of those profiles are coming up empty when I try to load them:

  https://twitter.com/destinymay___

  https://instagram.com/destinymay___

  Similarly, the YouTube channel at DestinyMay isn’t returning a valid profile:

  https://www.youtube.com/user/DestinyMay

  Can you double-check your usernames on these social services?

  I recently changed my Twitter account usernames, but I changed them back and the icons still aren’t showing up.

  @destinymay__ does the @ symbol matter when you’re typing it on the widget?

  Nope! You shouldn’t need to type the @ symbol. The icons actually appear to be working now:

  Hey, do you know if there’s any way for me to get my ‘about’ ‘contact’ and ‘policy’ tabs to the bottom of my home site?

  Yep! You’ll just need to create a custom menu as explained here:

  Menus

  Once you’ve created the menu, you’ll see the following two options under Appearance -> Menu -> Locations:

  The “Primary Menu” is at the top of your site. The “Footer Menu” will be at the bottom as shown in the theme demo here:

  One more question. I created the footer menu, but when I went to delete the tabs from my primary menu, it deleted the contents from the footer menu. How do I get rid of the tabs from the primary menu without getting rid of th contents in the tabs of the footer menu?

  You’ll want to create two separate menus – one for the top of your site and another for the footer. Currently, you only have one named Main Menu. Can you create a new menu using the “Create new menu” link at the top of this page?

  If you name this one “Top Menu” or something similar, you’ll be able to manage the menus separately. Then, set “Top Menu” as the primary menu here:

  Leave “Main Menu” as the footer menu.
