social media widget – SOUNDCLOUD MISSING!

Hello dear wordpress team.

great work so fare!
But I am REALLY missing the possibility to add a soundcloud link to the social media widget in my sidebar! Can you fix this please ?

Currently, WordPress.com supports adding icons for the following social networks:
If you’d like to add an icon for a different social network, you can do so with a little bit of HTML.

You can also choose a theme that has a Social Links Menu (not widget) in addition to the regular navigation menu. You can find those themes here: https://wordpress.com/themes/filter/social-menu/

While I am not sure if any of theme have an icon for SoundCloud, there will be a generic icon added that you can link to it.

We don’t currently support SoundCloud icons for the widget, and I don’t know of any theme that supports it for the social links menu either, but I’ve submitted a feature request for this.

Feature requests depend on how many users are asking for a feature, how much value it will add, whether it’s feasible, and whether developers are available to work on it, so it’s no guarantee that it will be implemented. So another option you can explore is to download your own icons for the services you want, and then you add them manually using a text widget instead:
