Soft focus on photos

    Why does the focus on photos soften when I post them on my blog? I am being careful to resize them at exactly the same size that I’ll be posting them at. Yet, every time, the photo is sharper in its unpublished state than after it’s published. Is it because I’m using a responsive theme? I’m using Twenty Twelve.
