Software Error In EU Cookie Law Widget
-
Hello, I can’t see the ‘EU Cookie Law Widget’ in Widget section. I changed the text of EU Cookie Law Widget 2 years ago. It was working. But now, I can’t see any section or setting to edit this window. This section has been removed or I am having a software problem :)
You can check my blog below.

Are you on a free WordPress.com plan? Visiting your site I see the default WordPress.com cookie banner showing on your your front page. There used to be cookie widget as an option before the banner was a default setting. When the banner was first introduced it conflicted with the widget. Perhaps the widget has been removed? As it isn’t something I’ve paid too much attention to I have added the modlook tag to ask staff to reply to you.

Hi there,
To comply with the GDPR all no-cost sites will display the cookie banner by default. The text of this banner cannot be changed. As such, we have removed the cookie banner widget from theses sites.
For sites on upgraded plans which are not currently displaying ads, the original widget can be added.
You’ll find more on this at: https://en.support.wordpress.com/cookie-widget/
