Software glitch!

When I click the W, it takes me to Write a Post.
No matter where I click after that, e.g., to get out of that screen, a window opens up displaying files on my desktop asking me to “Select file to upload by wordpres.com.”
I can’t turn it off or cancel that post.
I tried uploading a photo, but that didn’t work either.
How do I cancel that post and cancel that command?

If you close and re-open your internet browser, does the problem persist?
If so, it will help with trouble-shooting if you can reply with details about your operating system and browser. In other words, are you using a PC or a Mac, and do you get on the internet with Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, or something else?

Vista, Broadband, AOL browser, PC.
The only thing that seems to work is to clear the toolbar history and footprints. For some odd reason, that fixes it until the next time (but, I have to do it often).

I’m not familiar with the AOL Browser. If possible, I suggest installing Firefox or Chrome and using that instead. I’ve found them to be much less glitch-y across all sorts of web sites (not just wordpress.com) than the other browsers I’ve used.

Don’t use the AOL browser. It is not web compliant and has such a minuscule market share that no one even thinks of it when doing web design and development.
Use Firefox or Safari, or even Internet Explorer 8 or 9.
