Soho Theme Youtube Issues

  I am using the Soho theme which allows me to add a youtube video for my homepage.

  Under the theme tab there is a box allowing me to add the YouTube URL however, when I insert the URL the video does not embed and nothing happens?

  Can anyone help me with this?

  Sounds like a lovely theme Rachel..

  Just checked and maybe you need to ‘select’ the youtube video style as your homepage layout in ‘customization’ (like with other pages, when it’s a ‘static page’ or ‘posts’ etc… )

  Here’s an excerpt from your themes description page:

  “Front Page Layout
  With four different front page layouts, Soho provides a lot of flexibility. You can choose between a blog, portfolio, static page, or a content-free homepage with full-width video or slideshow.”

  Also as Soho is a Premium theme, you can receive assistance directly from the theme’s author in the special Premium theme forum here http://premium-themes.forums.wordpress.com/forum/soho

  You will need to be logged in with the username that purchased the theme in order to post into that forum.
