Solved a clashing plug-in issue, but both plug-ins are by WooCommerce?

I have been going crazy trying to figure out why on my store, selecting a country wasn’t changing the drop-down menu to states (for USA), county (for UK), and was instead defaulting to regions in NZ (where I live). I tried the first advice–temp switch theme to Storefront to see if the issue changed. (It didn’t).

Then I tried the second–turn off plug-ins and see if the problem replicates. Once I turned off WooCommerce Pay Pal Payments, the situation sorted itself.

Now the only active WooCommerce related plug ins are WooCommerce itself and WooCommerce Payments. But *why* should WooCommerce PayPal Payments be causing this problem? This means I can’t integrate PayPal into my store? I also checked out Payment Plugins for PayPal WooCommerce, but they wanted me to set up a business paypal acct and c’mon now, I’m only trying to sell my zine.

Curious if anybody else had this plug-in problem, if they solved it, and/or other options I don’t know about.

I’m using the latest WP and WC and all plug-ins are up-to-date.

    Hello!

It sounds like you need help with the WooCommerce plugin but have landed on the support forum for WordPress.com sites instead.

We don’t offer WooCommerce on WordPress.com (unless you are upgraded to our WordPress.com Business or eCommerce Plan) so we are not your best point of contact, but the good news is that help is available by contacting WooCommerce staff here:

    Thanks!
