Some articles don't appear on the front page

  Good morning,
  I just noticed today that randomly a few articles don’t appear on the front/home page of my blog. I cannot find out why: a high number of articles are allowed on the front page and the most recent ones, I stopped using categories, but still, I cannot see a few that I otherwise can open if I go to the archives for example.

  Yes. But for example, posts from October, like this one:
  https://pieceofanita.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/what-happens-at-the-feria-stays-at-the-feria/

  doesn’t appear on the home page and I can’t see the logic (if there is any).

  How many posts have you set to display on the front page please?
  Check here > Dashboard > Settings > Readong
  http://pieceofanita.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php

  Blog pages show at most __ posts.

  Have you disabled infinite scroll?

  To infinity and beyond_Scroll Infinitely
  (Shows 7 posts on each load)

  I found that post https://pieceofanita.wordpress.com/2015/10/11/what-happens-at-the-feria-stays-at-the-feria/ in your October archives https://pieceofanita.wordpress.com/2015/10/ but it is not displaying on the front page, so typed modlook into the sidebar tags on this thread for Staff help.   Hi there! The post you referenced has the ‘Featured Content’ tag ‘Nimes’. This means that if you were using the Front Page template, you’d see it in the Featured area as explained here:

  https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/gateway/

  However, these featured posts are removed from the standard recent posts. In order to have these posts appear in your recent posts again, please clear the featured tag from your settings at Customizer > Featured Content.
