Some authors not able to post or edit

We have a blogging team of several people, all of whom have the same permission level: Author. In the last week, some of them have come up against an issue with the WordPress post builder. Not being able to put content into any new posts, or to edit their existing drafts.
Troubleshooting steps I’ve taken:
Since I have a higher level of permissions, and mine was working fine, I tried giving one of them higher permissions and logging in as him from my own computer. I was able to edit posts from his account, both at a low and high permission level.
I asked our web team whether any new plugins have been installed in that timeframe, and it sounds like none have.
I asked all the writing team members whether they were having any issues and 3 are having the same issue, 1 definitely is not. They’re all at the same permission level. Seems like not a browser-specific issue because the one whose system is working uses Chrome, and so does another whose system isn’t.What else could this be?
