Some Blog Posts Not Ranking Despite SEO Plugins — Missing Something?

    Hi all,

I’ve been running a WordPress blog for a few months now using the free version of Rank Math for on-page SEO. Despite optimizing my content with proper titles, meta descriptions, internal links, etc., some of my articles still aren’t ranking at all — not even for low-competition keywords.

I’ve checked for indexing issues in Search Console, and everything seems fine. No major crawl errors or penalties. I’m wondering if there’s a deeper content/keyword strategy issue I’m missing.

To audit further, I recently used a semrush group buy tool to run some keyword gap and competitor reports. It helped uncover some ranking opportunities I hadn’t considered. But I’d love to know from other bloggers here — do SEO plugins alone cut it, or is manual keyword analysis still key?

    Would appreciate your insights.

    Thanks!

As you are talking about several plugins you installed, it’s obvious you aren’t talking about a free wordpress.com site. As your site isn’t running on the wordpress.com platform, we can’t help at all. You must take a look in the documentation of the plugin(s) you are using.
